Pakistan’s hard hitting opening batsman Fakhar Zaman has announced that fans and opposition team would get to see ‘a different Fakhar Zaman’ at the upcoming World Cup 2019.

The opening batsman also intends to repeat his memorable performance at the 2017 Champions Trophy, which Pakistan went on to win with Zaman hitting a match turning century at the finals against arch rivals India.

"I want to repeat my Champions Trophy performance at the World Cup, but of course the World Cup is an even bigger event,” said Zaman, while talking to media persons on Saturday.

The opening batsman revealed that he has been working on his batting flaws, and has especially utilized the rest he got during the recently concluded series against Australia. “The rest I got during the series against Australia has helped me. During this time I worked on my flaws…  You will now see a different Fakhar Zaman," he said.

The Pakistani top order batsman was also hopeful that the fans would get an improved opening pair in the tournament.

Pakistan cricket team is scheduled to depart for England on April 23 to participate in the ICC World Cup 2019. They are also expected to participate in a One Day International (ODI) series, prior the tournament.
