Zayn Malik’s cover of hit Aladdin song will take you to ‘A Whole New World’
Days before the release of live action remake of ‘Aladdin’ starring Will Smith, Naomi Scott and Mena Massoud hit theaters, makers have released a revamped hit song from the original movie covered by Zayn Malik, which will take fans to a ‘whole new world’.
Zayn, along with singer Zhavia Ward, covered Aladdin’s hit tune ‘A Whole New World’ on Thursday. While the two didn't sing the beloved tune on a magic carpet ride over Agrabah, they did perform the duet in New York.
The song is set to play in the new film's end credits. Although it’s still not close to Katie Price and Peter Andre’s version, but we’re into it.
In the video, the former One Direction singer can be seen wandering around the streets of New York by himself at night, while belting out the infamous chorus, Zhavia too in the video taking in the sights of the city from a rooftop. The video has absolutely nothing to do with the film, but the song is catchy in its own way.
‘Aladdin’ is set to release on May 22.
