With ‘Bharat’ raking in INR 150 crore over the extended Eid weekend, Salman Khan has delivered his 14th consecutive hit.

It was 'Dabangg' that started his journey to the 100 crore club, followed by his other films Ready, Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger, Dabangg 2, Jai Ho, Kick, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Sultan, Tubelight, Tiger Zinda Hai and Race 3.

Taking note of the feat, Indian trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “As ‘Bharat’ cruises past Rs100 crore mark, Salman Khan sets another benchmark: Highest number of films in Rs100 crore club. The tally rises to 14 with ‘Bharat’.”

‘Bharat’ is an official adaptation of 2014 South Korean film ‘Ode to My Father’, which chronicles the journey of 'Bharat' played by Salman from an eight-year-old kid to a 70-year-old. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film also features Katrina Kaif, Tabu, Sunil Grover, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Sonali Kulkarni and Nora Fatehi in pivotal roles.

On the other hand, Salman’s contemporary Shah Rukh Khan has failed to deliver any hit on box office from past few years.
