- Katie Hopkins tweeted Prince William and Kate should not promote Pakistan.
- The columnist had also called Pakistan 'land of revenge rape and honour killings'.
British media person and columnist Katie Hopkins's tweet spewing hate against Prince William and Kate Middelton's visit to Pakistan did not sit well with Pakistani actress Armeena Khan, who was quick to put the media person in her place.
As Pakistan wholeheartedly welcomed the royal couple to Pakistan, Hopkins, in her tweet, said Prince William and Kate Middleton should not be promoting Pakistan. “Land of Peace? The land of revenge rape and honour killings. Kate & Wills should not be promoting Pakistan. Our daughters deserve better,” she wrote.
In reply to that, Armeena told the British media person that both Britain and Pakistan deserve someone better than her. She has also encouraged her fans to share lots of pictures of the royals in Pakistan, adding that Hopkins seems very much bothered by the their visit.
Britain deserves better than you. Pakistan deserves better than you. Come to think of so does India (she must be so embarrassed of you). Tweeple pls tweet lots of photos of the royals in pakistan at her. I bet shes losing lots and lots of sleep over this. https://t.co/gTwZxC7N5Y
