Acclaimed Indian comedian Kapil Sharma has announced the arrival of his baby girl with wife Ginni Chatrath. Kapil shared the news on social media, seeking best wishes of his fans and followers.

“Blessed to have a baby girl. Need your blessings. Love you all,” he wrote.

Within only a few hours of the announcement , his social media was flooded with thousands of congratulatory tweets from his fans and industry friends.

Kapil announced the news of Ginni's pregnancy in an interview with Mumbai Mirror earlier this year. “I just want to take care of my wife and be by her side for now. We are obviously very excited as it's our first kid but my mother is the most excited. She has been waiting for this moment for years now. We are just praying for Ginni and the baby's health,” he told the publication.

Kapil is currently hosting his successful comedy show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ on Sony TV.
