Govt will defeat corrupt mafia creating hurdles in country’s progress: Rasheed

(Karachi) Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad has said the government will defeat the corrupt mafia which is a major hurdle in progress of the country.
Addressing media persons in Rawalpindi on Sunday, he said the government is taking measures to control inflation in the country.
He added the country will come out of the current crisis by 2021 under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
To a question regarding change of Punjab chief minister, he said, “Usman Buzdar is going nowhere and he will continue to work as the chief minister.” He added such rumours are being spread to create rifts among allies of the government.
Talking about the CPEC projects in the country, the railways minister said, “No power can manipulate the mega project and completion of ML-1 project is the mission of his life.”
Sheikh Rasheed also vowed to ensure early completion of a Women university in Rawalpindi with support of Punjab government.
