LAHORE: Punjab Emergency Services,Rescue 1122 has provided a fleet of 22 modern ambulances,22 fire brigade tenders comprising 200 high trained staff to escort Tehrik-i- Minhaj Ul Quran Chief Dr.Tahir Ul Qadri march upto Rawalpindi.
Director General, Punjab Emergency Services, Dr Rizwan Naseer told APP here Sunday that entire route have been divided into four sections which will cover his entire march on GT Road.
First section comprising ambulances and fire brigades fleet will escort upto Kamoki and second will cover till Wazirabad, third from Jhelum and last will be ready from Gujjar Khan upto destination.
He said that all ambulances are equipped with sufficient stock of life saving expensive medicines and can meet any eventuality in a case of any mishap.
DG said that a central control room has been established at the provincial headquarters to monitor the situation and issue them guide lines in case of any emergency.
He said that leaves of entire rescue staff 1122 had already been cancelled and directed them to report to their place of duty immediately otherwise their services will be terminated.
