SC adjourns hearing of PM's alleged graft case till January 22

raja-pervaiz-ashraf ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Thursday adjourned until January 22, a case alleging corruption by Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf, after the head of an anti-graft watchdog said he lacked evidence to arrest him.

Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry asked the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to report again on progress in the long-running case after its chairman said there was not yet enough evidence to arrest Prime Minister Ashraf and 15 others in the Rental Power Projects (RPPs) corruption case.
