Electoral process to continue for a progressive Pakistan: Marri
ISLAMABAD: Member National Assembly (MNA) of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Shazia Marri Friday said that electoral process would continue for achieving progress and prosperity of the country.
Talking to a private television channel, she said that the government is going to complete its democratic tenure due to the reconciliation policy.
She said that PPP-led government was fully aware to its responsibility and facilitating people in the country.
When PPP came into power conspiracies being made against it but government was successful to deliver its best policies to the people, she said.
Shazia said that the present government and Opposition playing proactive role for the upcoming election to make them free, fair, transparent and it would be held in time.
She said that elements targeting Karachi, wanted to disturb peace in the country, adding that action would be taken against the defunct organizations.
Replying to a question, PPP MNA said that there are challenges which should be tackled with collective efforts of all parties and stakeholders.
She said that consensus for the caretaker set-up should be made with all the political parties and stakeholders for the continuity of democratic system in the country.
