ISLAMABAD: Former federal minister for Railways, Farooq Azam Malik said on Wednesday that the establishment of new provinces and small units will strengthen the federation in the country.
Talking to APP outside the Parliament House, he said there are provisions of new provinces in the Constitution and these fulfil all constitutional requirements.
Replying to a question he said the people who are demanding new provinces, should be given new provinces and there is no harm in creation of new provinces.
To another question he said all the political parties and stakeholders should sit together and make decisions on important issues of the country in national interest.
