LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Tuesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 26.36 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 4768.77 and closed at 4795.13 points.
The market's overall situation, however, did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 2.011 million shares to close against previous turnover of 4.212 million shares, showing an downward move of 2.201 million shares. While, out of the total 91 active scrips, 23 moved up, 53 remained equal with 15 shed values.
Muslim Commercial Bank Limited, MARI Petroleum Company and Highnoon Laboratories were major gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 12.90, Rs 11.01 and Rs 7.45 respectively.
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, Engro Corporation Limited, and Oil and Gas Development Company Limited lost their per share value by Rs 13.10, Rs 7.19 and Rs 6.42 respectively.
The volume leader of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 748,000 shares, NIB Bank Limited with 260,000 shares and Fauji Cement Company Limited with 239,500 shares.
