imageLAHORE: Female lecturer of Punjab University Law College, Khajista Rehan has blamed that the Vice Chancellor Punjab University Mujahid Kamran is making her target of revenue after her refusal of indulging in sexual terms with him.

"VC and his cohorts are hurling life threats and I demand the Chief Justice of Pakistan and Chief Minister Punjab to order judicial inquiry into the matter after removing the VC and incumbent Mohtasib", Khajista Rehan told a hurriedly called press conference here on Sunday.

She refused to appear before an inquiry committee of the Punjab University comprising of male members only. "I would never appear before the PU committee as the members made fun of me", she vowed, and demanded reformation of the committee comprising of only female members.

Khajista blamed that the VC had once called her in his office and tried to sexually harass her, besides he had been sending offensive SMSs and convincing to have a meeting in solitude. "On refusal to fulfil his sexual inhuman desires, he started making me target of his vengeance", she further blamed.

Continuing she said a fake FIR had been registered against her and she was being pressurised through police to mend ways with the VC or ready to face repercussions.

The female lecturer questioned that if other teachers of the varsity had been suspended on the basis of accusation of sexual harassment then why VC had not been suspended so far.

She blamed that when she approached and told her gruesome tale to Mohtasab, who happenned to be a female, she instead of taking any action against the VC had referred the matter to the committee, in contrary to the her authority. And when she appeared before the committee, its male members instead of giving her relief started making fun of her, she added.
