ISLAMABAD: National Assembly on Tuesday deferred a resolution urging the government to take immediate steps to lift ban on "You Tube".
The resolution was moved by the Shazia Mari, Syed Naveed Qamar said, "We have agreed with the government to modify the resolution and move it next week".
Shazia Mari said that around one billion people using "You Tube" across the world and students are using "You Tube" for their research works,she added.
Minister for Science and Technology Zahid Hamid said that the issue of "You Tube" is in the High Court and decision would be taken after the verdict of the Court.
Dr. Arif Alvi also supported the idea of lifting ban on "You Tube" after taking protective measures to remove objectionable material from it.
