ISLAMABAD: Minister for Defence Khawaja Asif here on Wednesday said that Pakistan wanted friendly ties with India and desired to resolve all issues in a peaceful manners.
Talking to the newsmen outside the Parliament House, he said,"We want cordial and friendly ties with India and has desired to resolve all disputes with India in peaceful manners and on equality basis."
The Minister said that Pakistan Army was a respectable institution and had rendered unmatched scarifies for safeguarding the country's frontiers.
He said the nation was completely backing the government and Pakistan Army in war against terrorism.
Recalling the recent attack on security personnel officers near Tarnol Railway crossing, he said, the army was fighting the war of Pakistan's defence and their scarifies would bear the fruits soon.
Timely action from the security forces at Karachi Airport has saved it from the big damage, he added.
To a question, Khawaja Asif said that all the institutions including judiciary and media are respectable.
