TAIPEI: Taiwan auctioned T$40 billion ($1.3 billion) in 5-year government bonds at a yield of 1.227 percent, the central bank said on Tuesday, missing the forecasts in a Reuters poll for a yield of between 1.235 percent and 1.25 percent.
