Pakistan’s lifestyle exhibition ‘Aalishan Pakistan’ to unfold this week in Delhi, India. The exhibition will showcase a range of Pakistani products from jewellery, accessories, textiles and agro.
The exhibition will highlight the unique and interesting pakistani culture from more practical engineering and agricultural goods to handicrafts, art, precious stones, leather, textile, jewellery and dashes of Pakistani fashion.
According to media reports, the exhibition is a collaborative effort between the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), with the larger aim to support efforts of governments of both countries to bring about peaceful trade relations between the two nations.
Just last week, Hindu groups protested against the decision to host Aalishan Pakistan. The protests came after the second 'Made In Pakistan Expo' Mumbai was cancelled at the last minute by the organisers recently. But the stage is set for ‘Aalishan Pakistan’, due to begin Today at one of the capital’s largest and most popular trade fair venues, local media reported.
The prominent brands of pakistan which will be participating in the lifestlye exhibition will be, Khaadi, Gul Ahmed, Sana Safinaz, Chen One, Al-Karam, Asim Jofa, Bareeze and Lala Textiles.
Reportedly, few of the leading Pakistani designers such as Umar Sayeed, Warda Saleem, Sania Maskatiya, Maheen Karim, Deepak Perwani and Faiza Samee along with a few budding fashion designers will also showcase their latest lines of ensembles.
The event will be an opportunity to witness the highest quality products from Pakistan at a single destination and slated to start from September 11- 14.
