KARACHI: President, Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q), Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain reiterated his suggestion that heads of all political entities should sit together in Karachi to establish lasting peace in the metropolis.
He said this while talking to media persons at the headquarters of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), here at Azizabad. Earlier, he along with other leaders of his party held a meeting with the members of MQM Rabita Committee.
He told a questioner that he has conveyed no message of the President to the MQM. He said heads of all political forces in the country should sit together in the city to establish peace, adding, he himself would also join them.
Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said he is in constant touch with MQM Chief Altaf Hussain and they intend to bring the country out of the crisis. He said he is also grieved over the killings of innocent people in violent incidents in Karachi.
Deputy Convener MQM Rabita Committee, Dr. Farooq Sattar, members of Rabita Committee, Mrs Nasreen Jaleel, Waseem Aftab, Syed Shoaib Ahmed Bukhari and Raza Haroon were also present on the occasion.
