‘Rush’ actor Daniel Bruhl has been roped in to play a villainous role in upcoming Marvel’s ‘Captain America: Civil War’. The star will play the villainous role but he didn’t reveal the name of his character.
According to media reports Marvel president and Civil War producer Kevin Feige said in a statement, “With Daniel’s ability to deliver intense, nuanced performances, we knew we had found yet another great actor to share the screen with some of our biggest heroes”.
As sources revealed that Bruhl is not the main villain in ‘Captain America: Civil War’ but could potentially be the top menace in Marvel’s another movie ‘Doctor Strange’. It’s worth noting that this won’t be Bruhl’s first time appearing in a film with an Avenger, as he starred opposite ‘Thor’ actor Chris Hemsworth in ‘Rush’.
Bruhl has joined Chris Evans, Robert Downey, and Chadwick Boseman in ‘Captain America: Civil War’ along with Joe and Anthony Russo returning to direct after this year's hit ‘Marvel's Captain America: The Winter Soldier’.
‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ earned $714.1 million worldwide and became the fourth-highest grossing film of 2014 worldwide while ‘Captain America: Civil War’ is expected to hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
