JOHANNESBURG: Shares of South Africa's Exxaro Resources rise more than 4 percent in afternoon trade, as miners say they have reached a deal to end a week-long strike in the country's coal industry.
Shares of Exxaro, South Africa's second-largest coal producer, are up 4.1 percent at 187.32 rand at 1113 GMT, making it the top percentage gainer among Johannesburg's Top-40 index of blue chips.
