MULTAN: Punjab government has released a sum of Rs 15.122 million to strengthen security in schools in the city. The work includes elevating boundary walls and fixing metallic wire fence on their top and other related measures.
The funding has been released for those schools in Multan district which were categorized as A and A Plus, education department officials said on Wednesday.
It was learnt that utilization of these funds was in progress and work on elevation of boundary walls of 145 schools and fixation of metallic fences on them was in final stages of completion.
