Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma, New Zealand player Corey Anderson and Australian Glenn Maxwell has been picked by the International Cricket Council (ICC) as one of the few debutants to watch out for in an upcoming 2015 World Cup starting from Saturday February 14.
According to the official ICC website, the top 10 debutants featuring in the 2015 World Cup are Corey Anderson, Glenn Maxwell, Hamilton Masakadza, Hamid Hassan, Quinton de Kock, Joe Root, Jason Holder, Dinesh Chandimal, David Warner and Rohit Sharma.
Corey Anderson (New Zealand), held the world record for the fastest ODI century, after he reached three figures from 36 balls against West Indies in January 2014 he will be the key player from New Zealand line up.
Glenn Maxwell (Australia) performances in limited over’s cricket have seen him gain worldwide fame since his ODI debut in 2012. His off-spin will be an important tool for Australia in the World Cup.
Hamilton Masakadza (Zimbabwe) made his international debut in 2001. He will be the oldest debutant at the World Cup 2015. Masakadza score three centuries and 24 fifties in his cricket career as well as he scored century against Sri Lanka in a recent warm up match.
Hamid Hassan (Afghanistan) played 24 ODI from Afghanistan with average of 18.93 and the best bowling figure 5/45 which showcase his talent in world cup.
Quinton de Kock (South Africa) 22 years old the emerging wicket keeper and batsman from South Africa who just played 36 ODI and the best batting figure of 135 and continuously maintaining the average of 42.45 is the great talent from South Africa so far.
Joe Root (England) is a middle order batsman with the batting average of 40.00 with the help of 3 centuries and 8 ODI fifties. He recently played a superb knock of 85 runs and will show his class in cricketing world.
23 years old Jason Holder (West Indies) with just the experience of 26 ODI games called up for the captaincy for the mega event. Holder had a great talent to bowl with the average of 30.21 and he took 37 wickets.
