World cup 2015 is about to kick start from Saturday, but injuries continue to rise for Pakistani players as another key player Ahmed Shehzad has been injured while practicing for upcoming match against India.
According to local media reports, Ahmed Shehzad was practicing routine batting while a ball hit on his elbow and he was shifted to hospital for first Aid. Team management said that Ahmed had got minor injury and x-ray showed that no internal injury has occurred and Ahmed Shehzad will play against India on Sunday February 15.
23 years old Ahmed Shehzad played 58 ODI matches with the average of 34.82. Shehzad is a specialist opener after Hafeez got injured before 2nd warm up match against England.
