Pakistan will play its World Cup opener against India on Sunday, February 15. As per the latest buzz, Pakistan team management has done a slight change in the current Pakistani squad.
Nasir Jamshed who has been called by Pakistani team management in replacement of Mohammad Hafeez, will not play its first game against India. Media sources said that the experience batsman Younis Khan will open the innings with young Ahmed Shehzad, where Sarfraz Ahmed is back to replace Nasir Jamshed in the World Cup opener.Nasir Jamshed played against England in 2nd warm up where he scored only 1run facing 4 balls while Sarfraz Ahmed in his warm up match against Bangladesh also scored a single run facing 10 balls. Pakistani experienced player Younis Khan played both warm up games and scored 44 runs facing 66 deliveries.
Pakistan has won both warm up games against Bangladesh and England, which have up their morale for the upcoming match against India.
