All parties strive to make Pakistan prosperous: CM Sindh
KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Sunday said all parties are working together to develop Pakistan as a prosperous and developed country in the world.
He was talking to media during a visit to mausoleum of father of nation, Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah to pay homage on 64th Independence Day of the country on Sunday.
He said "we are celebrating the 64th Independence day of the country today the Muslims of subcontinent got a separate homeland for them under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
He said the country has made significant progress in the last 64 years still much is yet to be achieved.
He recalled that after 25 years of the Independence, Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto had given the Constitution to the country on 1973, with the consensus of all parties. Today, the 1973 Constitution is acceptable to all parties, he added.
Syed Qaim Ali Shah said the government is striving for the development and betterment of the country under the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari.
Under the leadership of Altaf Hussain, Asfandyar Wali Khan, Pir Pagaro, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and other leaders we would take country on the path of progress and development.
He expressed the hope that the reconciliation process which the government had pursued during three and a half year, would help resolve problems of the masses with consensus.
Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that all political parties are equally responsible to serve the masses.
