HYDERABAD: Federal Law Minister Mola Bux Chandio has said that President Asif Ali Zardari's policy of political reconciliation will stay the course in the interest of democracy and stability in the country.
"The personal opinions of Zulfiqar Mirza can not be and are not important than the party policy," the Federal Minister said while talking to media and party workers during visit to Qasimabad and Tando Muhammad Khan on Saturday (Saturday).
Chandio said Urdu speaking people are permanent residents of Sindh and who cannot be neglected.
The Minister said that the constitution of Pakistan provides for calling the army to tackle a situation inside the country, however, for Karachi a permanent solution was needed through reconciliation and political dialogue.
"The PPP is moving on the same direction," he added.
He stressed that the military operation in Karachi during the last government of PML-N did not yield results.
"President Zardari wants to see a lasting solution for Karachi," he added.
Chandio said the PPP had accepted MQM's mandate in Karachi and Hyderabad and for that very reason they were taken as allies in the government.
"Soon they will rejoin us," he hoped adding that talks with the MQM leadership were underway in that regard.
Meanwhile, the Federal Minister for Law directed DCO Hyderabad Ahmed Baksh Narejo, MD WASA Shafique Arain and TMA Qasimabad to clear the standing rain water from the area.
He later visited several villages in Tando Muhamamd Khan where the Federal Minister distributed relief goods among the rain affected people.
