KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed lower on Thursday having 32816.31 points with a negative change of 8.72 and volume of 59,796,540 shares.
High and Low were 32856.02 and 32735.43 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 99,632,990 shares with 316 total traded companies out of which 156 were up 138 were down and 22 were unchanged.
CEMENT was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 19,670,700 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 13,097,900 shares.
The three top traded companies were Gharibwal Cement with a volume of 6,933,500 and price per share of 47.45 ( 1.87), Pak Elektron with a volume 4,686,000 of price per share of 62.54 (0.90), K-Electric Ltd. with a volume 4,316,000 of price per share of 7.44 ( 0.05).
The top three advancers were Pak Tobacco with price per share 1114.19 ( 53.05), Nestle Pak with price per share of 7800.00 ( 50.00) and Ferozsons (Lab) share of 1106.90 (42.65).
The top three decliners were Unilever Foods with price per share of 5950.00 (-250.00), Sapphire Fiber with price per share of 703.95 (-37.05) and Colgate Palmo of 1450.00 ( - 29.00).
