LAHORE: A delegation of education and trade related officers of Canadian High Commission in Pakistan visited the office of Student Counselling Services (SCS), a student consultancy firm guiding students to higher education abroad, here on Thursday.
The delegation comprising Ms Crelina Gill, Ms Alison Steward, Abid Samdani and Athar Ali Khan reviewed office facilities and held meeting with Director SCS Dr Osama Qureshi and his team.
During the meeting, Ms Stewart, Senior Trade Commissioner at Canadian High Commission said that Canadian government is encouraging Pakistani students to take full benefit of the excellent educational opportunities available in Canada.
She said Canada offers high quality education with opportunity to work, a safe environment to live in and one of world's most friendly immigration systems for international students.
She said Canada is one of the top destinations of choice for international students. She said Canadian qualifications are valued and respected worldwide, their cost is affordable and Canada has a multi-cultural, inclusive society with a large Pakistani community.
