PM Syed Yousuf Raza GilaniKARACHI: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has called the All Parties Conference to review national security in light of the recent allegations by the US over Pakistan's alleged support of the Haqqani Network.

Addressing the APC, PM Gilani said, “Pakistan rejects allegations by the US,” adding, "They are surprising for us."

"Allegations by the US are false," he added further.

However, he said that Pakistan's doors are still open for talks with the US.

“We want a strong and stable Afghanistan," he said.

Speaking further, Prime Minister Gilani said, "US must respect Pakistan's sovereignty."

"The US can not ask us to do more," he added.

The Prime Minister said that the nation must draw an agenda through the APC.

"The entire nation stands united on national security," the Prime Minister stressed.

He said Pakistan fully supports peace efforts in Afghanistan.

Lauding the efforts of the armed forces in the war against terror, the PM said, "We have complete faith in our armed forces."

He said Pakistan is facing many challenges and is an important country politically and geographically.
