RAWALPINDI: Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rashid Tuesday said people all over the world were concerned about Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif's health and praying for his early recovery.
He said, "As a result of the prayers of the people, the Prime Minister would soon be amongst us."
The people know, the journey of development had started under the leadership of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, he said and added, the law and order situation had also improved considerably due to the prime minister's vision.
The achievements of Zarb-e-Azb were acknowledged the world over. "We want to give a peaceful and developed country to the future generation," he added. The minister said, every one was aware of the law and order that prevailed in the country three years ago.
Pervaiz Rashid and State Minister for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhary attended 'Dua' arranged for early and complete recovery of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
Addressing the participants, Pervaiz Rashid said the surgery's results had been positive and "we are thankful to Allah Almighty for blessing good health to the Prime Minister."
He called upon the people to offer prayer of thanks to Allah Almighty for his blessings and early return of the prime minister to continue serving the people.
Pervaiz Rashid said that people from all sections of the society including the minorities were praying for the early recovery of the Prime Minister.
The Muslims from world over and a large number of people from other religions including Hindus, Sikhs, Christians and Jews prayed for the success of the surgery, as Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was now acknowledged internationally an ambassador of peace.
The terrorists were not only a threat to the country but also for the entire world, he said adding, with the start of operation Zarb-e-Azb the situation had changed altogether.
The operation's successes had been acknowledged world over as it not only secured Pakistan rather the whole world.
He lamented the policies pursued by former dictator who had gone abroad leaving the country in a lurch, but now the situation had improved considerably and the country was heading towards peace and stability.
The minister said, the government under the dynamic leadership of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, was following policies to eliminate power load-shedding from the country and various projects were underway to overcome the crisis.
Special prayer was offered for the health of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at the public office of Member National Assembly Malik Ibrar.
