The Pakistan Railways (PR) has extended the facility of concessional rate travel to bona fide journalists on all the trains.
The director public relations, railways at Lahore, Nasrullah has said that the rebate allowed to journalists is now 50 percent, the same as offered by the PIA.
However, many journalists have reportedly urged the railways minister and railways administration to restore the old rate of concession in railway travel for journalists.
The PR had already issued concession cards to the bona fide journalists for 2004.
