Kashmiri people have vowed to continue their struggle for their basic right of self-determination till their inalienable right is achieved.
Addressing a rally outside the Indian High Commission here, former AJK prime minister and president AJK Peoples Party Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry said that the Kashmiris will not betray the blood of their martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of freedom of the occupied land.
"We will not let the sacrifices go in vain. We want implementation of the UN resolutions on Kashmir", said the former AJK premier.
He said that Kashmiri people have waged a war of freedom in order to get rid of the illegal occupation of India and enjoy the dawn of freedom.
Sultan said Pakistan and India could not take a bilateral decision to resolve the Kashmir issue. "Kashmiris must be part of the negotiations". He said the Kashmiris want peace in South Asia but not at the cost of their freedom and self-determination.
Other speakers also demanded freedom for the Indian occupied Kashmir. They were of the view that implementation of the UN resolutions was the best solution to the longstanding issue.
The rally was participated by a large number of Kashmiris who carried placards and banners demanding plebiscite in the occupied territory.
The Kashmiris also presented a memorandum to the Indian High Commission exposing and condemning brutalities by the Indian occupation army and seeking withdrawal of occupation forces from occupied Kashmir.
