The Sindh government may take action against the people, who have misused the funds, obtained by them from Zakat and Ushr funds.
The deserving people, who were provided assistance from these funds, to create self-employment facilities for themselves are reported to have not gone for self-employment, but many of them used the assistance in proper way.
According to informed sources, the Sindh government is making enquiry as to how many deserving people, who sought the assistance from Zakat and Ushr funds, have not utilised the amount for the stated purpose.
It is reported that millions of rupees have been misused. Sources said that legal action may be taken against delinquents.
It is reported that it is a big job to locate the deserving people, who qualify to receive help from Zakat and Ushr.
Many people are favoured by the chairmen of the Zakat and Ushr committees.
There are complaints from many circles in this connection. Suicide cases are on the increase due to chronic and widespread unemployment all over the country.
