KEPZ benefits not achieved

We read an article on survey report on Karachi Export Processing Zone which has shown that its benefits have not been achieved.
A preliminary survey of the industries in the zone also showed absence of infrastructure facilities and linkages required for industrial activity which is correct.
You are well aware that Dubai Export Processing Zone is enjoying good economic benefit with the facilities of UAE government but in our country so many facilities have been announced by the government high officials but no one has availed of them as Customs officials are creating a lot of problems to the investors.
The investors of KEPZ are worried over the procedure of Customs at EPZ. Due to this the investors have lost orders received from abroad.
It is requested to the higher authorities to look into this and provide more benefit to the investors of KEPZ for enhancement of exports of the country.
