Grain market depicts changes

Gram sector, sugar, rice, guwar and wheat had undergone changes on the seed and grain wholesale markets on Thursday (January 29, 2004).
On the guwar side, all stations dropped Rs 30 to Rs 1270, and better down Rs 25 to Rs 1300, wheat was quoted at Rs 1100 and Rs 1120.
Sugar inferior quoted at Rs 1625 and better down Rs 10 to Rs 1680.
Broken rice Irri white down Rs 5 to Rs 945 and better down same amount to Rs 450.
On the gram sector changes were seen in yellow peas inferior quoted at Rs 1450 and better down Rs 10 to Rs 1470, dal yellow peas down Rs 25 to Rs 1525 and better down same amount to Rs 1535, beetle chana I down Rs 25 to Rs 1550 and better down Rs 30 to Rs 1580, gram dal down Rs 15 to Rs 1460 and better up Rs 5 to Rs 1490, gram dal down Rs 25 to Rs 1650 and better down Rs 10 to Rs 1680.
