Political leadership from Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Northern Areas and the representatives of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) termed the State of Jammu and Kashmir as a single indivisible entity and said that no solution relating to its future status would be accepted.
They also vowed to continue their struggle for the right of self determination and ultimate freedom.
In a declaration adopted during the All Parties Conference (APC) here on Friday the participants appreciated the recent interaction between Pakistan and India on resumption of dialogues leading to peaceful settlement of all issues. However, they expressed their reservations as the question for the right of self determination was not mention.
They were also not happy as the issue taken by both India and Pakistan as a bilateral issue whereas its is a trilateral issue.
Those who attended the APC were Barrister Sultan Mahmood, Sardar Attique Ahmad Khan, Major General Muhammad Hayat Khan (Retd), Sardar Ejaz Afzal Khan, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Justice Abdul Majeed Malik (Retd), Amanullah Khan, Shah Ghulam Qadir, Chaudhry Latif Akbar, Raja Latif Tahir, Muhammad Yousaf Awan, Nazeer Farooqi, Sardar Tahir Iqbal, Mahmood Ahmad Sagir, Nazir Ahmad Shawl, Ghulam Nabi Nosheri, Wajahat Hassan Khan, Sardar Arif Rasheed, Altaf Hussain Qadri, Raja Imtiaz Advocate, Sageer Chugtai, Sardar Aftab Ahmad Khan and Sardar Mumtaz.
They hoped that the issue would be settled in accordance with the wishes of the people of Jammu & Kashmir. They urged India to stop indiscriminate killings, organised genocide, crackdowns and release all the detainees in Indian jails.
They asked India to respect human rights allow the IHRO to help the deprived and deserving people of Indian occupied Kashmir.
The declaration demanded that the forces on both sides of the cease-fire line must be withdrawn with immediate effect so that the people of Jammu & Kashmir on both the sides could meet freely and carry on their free trade.
The declaration also condemned the recent statement of 'so-called' finance minister of puppet government of Indian occupied Kashmir to contest the forthcoming elections from Kashmir region.
