The apex body of textile industry, All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (Aptma), has appreciated government's effort to improve the balance sheet of the country by paying back the costly debt of Asian Development Bank ahead of schedule.
The Acting Chairman of Aptma, Arif Saeed, in a statement issued on Saturday said that the government has taken right decision which would bring great comfort to the economy and the people of the country.
He said that after payment of 1.17 billion dollar to ADB, the government would have more funds to allocate for the public sector development, which would help to eradicate poverty from the country.
