The government is taking all necessary steps for the promotion of the tourism industry in the country and with the induction of hi-tech Boeing 777 aircraft in the fleet of PIA, the tourism industry will jump-start to flourish.
This was stated by the Minister of State for Tourism, Sports and Culture, Rais Munir Ahmad, while expressing his views on the induction of Boeing 777 in the fleet of 45 aircraft of PIAC.
The minister said the induction of new aircraft would promote attraction for the tourists from all over the world, and the industry will perform good business this year.
While congratulating to the minister for defence and the PIAC chairman, Rais Munir said PIA has entered into a new era of aviation history, adding: "It will further progress in the days to come to face the emerging challenges."
The minister expressed hope that like past traditions, the PIA will continue to co-operate with the ministry of tourism even in future for the development and uplift of the industry.
