The Karachi Port handled 84,703 tonnes of cargo including 75,224 tonnes import and 9,479 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Thursday.
The cargo comprised of 50,647 tonnes dry and 34,056 tonnes liquid cargo.
Four ships namely S. Caboto, Apl Portugal, Mary Lisa and Barge Jackson Vilie sailed to sea during the report period.
Four vessels viz Corinthiakos, Delmas Seychelles, Kaede and Hyundai Advance are currently at the berths.
Four ships namely Delmas Seychelles, Conti Asia, Kaede and Hyundai Advance expected to sail on Thursday.
M.V. Kota Indha due to arrive on Thursday, while six vessels viz Koriana, Keefan, Oranje, Kota Tegap, Tai He and Mir Emad are due to arrive on Friday.
The cargo comprised of 6,279 tonnes edible oil; 406 tonnes wheat; 4,670 tonnes chemicals; 6,711 tonnes seeds; 11,385 tonnes iron ore and 27,574 tonnes containerised cargo.
Five ships namely P&O Nedlloyd Damietta, Kaede, Maersk Avon, Liberty Grace and Chembulk New York sailed to sea during the report period, while another ship M. T. Qem Star is expected to sail on Thursday afternoon.
C.V. Safmarine Prime due to take berth on Thursday.
M. T. Nikalas due to arrive on Thursday, while two more ships namely M.V. Pan Leader and China Star are due to arrive on Friday.
