Federal Information Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said that Indian cricket team would be provided foolproof security during forthcoming visit to Pakistan.
He stated this while talking to media men after taking part in the 13th annual hiking here on Sunday. The Pakistan Green Task Force organised the hiking.
Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said Pakistanis would enjoy the forthcoming cricket series between the two neighbouring countries.
Addressing the prize distribution ceremony on the completion of hiking, the minister said: "Pakistan Green Task Force led by Dr Jamal Nasir is fighting against diseases by creating awareness among people of the country about deadly diseases such as hepatitis."
He lauded the efforts being made by the organisation for creating awareness among the society regarding the effects of environmental pollution and related diseases.
The Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan and Dr Jamal Nasir also spoke on the occasion and highlighted importance of the exercise especially walking, trekking and hiking.
A large number of people belonging to all walks of life, including politicians, doctors, students and representatives of various organisations took part in the hiking.
The minister also distributed prizes among those who had contributed for creating awareness among people about the importance of exercise.
