I have read a letter published on February 13, 2004 written by Mohammad Yameen regarding tooth paste a health risk and agree with the contents of the letter.
It is correct and I found a lot of tooth pastes are containing steroid and many of gutkas/sweet suparis are freely available in the market and no action has been taken by the law agencies or PCSIR whereas these matters are publishing in the daily newspapers but all are vain.
It seems that the government of Pakistan and concerned agencies are involved who keep quiet on the sensitive issue.
Those using these brands have started becoming sick with dental disease and perhaps danger of cancer.
The government of Pakistan should take immediate notice of this and save the lives of human beings and stop advertisement of unethical and misleading dental products.
