The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) has extended the date for filing of applications for specialised positions at Customs Administrative Reform (CARE), Pilot project, Karachi from February 21 to March 6, 2004.
As part of the ongoing recruitment of tax officials for the specialised positions, the CBR has given computer online facility to the tax officials to file their applications through Internet for appointment at CARE, Pilot project, Karachi.
The appointment of experienced tax officials for the CARE, project will ensure speedy clearance of imported consignments.
After reviewing the options and evaluating job requirement match, the selection panel will interview short-listed officers. However, retention of the officers in these positions will be subject to the ongoing evaluation of their performance and meeting desired goals.
The CBR has laid down the responsibilities of tax officials working at various positions in Customs Administrative Reform (CARE), Pilot project, Karachi.
