The Export Promotion Bureau is organising a one-day seminar at a local hotel on February 28. The seminar is being held to assess the state of preparedness of the textile sector in Pakistan in face of the changing global environment and the end of quotas on January 1, 2005.
Experts will also talk about the implications of WTO and how to prepare the industry to counter the safeguard measures that developed countries would be taking to protect their markets against export surges from developing countries on the occasion.
