Special security measures that includes enforcement of red alert, cancellation of protocol and temporary passes have been undertaken at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore.
Business Recorder learnt it Sunday that the steps taken at the airport include placement of double force, a hundred percent checking.
The high alert at Lahore Airport has been enforced for 72 hours, of 36 hours have already elapsed, it has been learnt.
Meanwhile strict security measures have been taken on account of Ashura-e-Muharram in Lahore.
