Syria to sell durum and soft wheat

Syria's state grains agency issued two tenders on Wednesday to sell and export 50,000 tonnes of hard amber durum wheat and 25,000 tonnes of soft wheat, an agency official said.
The tender for the durum wheat sets the date of shipment between March 20 and April 15, while the shipment of the soft wheat is set for April, the official told Reuters.
The wheat will be sold FOB at the Syrian ports of Tartous and Latakia or at the agency's warehouses. The bidding deadline for both tenders is 0600 GMT March 8.
