Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Shaharyar M. Khan has said that strict measures would be taken during the Indian tour to Pakistan and people would not be allowed to take their mobile phones or any sort of solar equipment in stadiums.
While addressing a press conference here on Friday at the Gaddafi Stadium, he said that only photographers would be allowed to take their cameras. He said all the people would not be allowed to use other's tickets and entry in the stadium would be after scanning.
He said that a person would be allowed to purchase maximum five tickets and the ticket holders have to show their identification relevant to the ticket buyer.
He said that the PCB has for the first time introduced computerised ticket system only to ensure security.
He said that the PCB would arrange mobile vans to sale the tickets to save the people from the black marketers. He said the PCB has sold 28,000 tickets to Indians through its online service.
He said that the online ticket buyers would obtain their visa by providing the receipts from their visa offices. Shaharyar said, "We will welcome the Indian people in Pakistan warmly as this series is being played after 15 years."
He said that the PCB would install a special stall for them to convert their online receipts into tickets.
He also said that owing to lack of capacity in our stadiums they sold only 20 percent reserved tickets and rest of the tickets have been saved for the general public.
He called upon the public to come early so that they could enter into the stadiums after security check safely.
