The Lahore High Court adjourned to March 30 the proceedings in an appeal filed by former Mayor Multan Salahuddin Dogar as the court time was over.
The court did not work in the afternoon due to death of former judge LHC Aslam Riaz.
The applicant had been convicted by an accountability court for being involved in corruption and making illegal money in excess of his income.
He was facing the charges for misusing his office as Mayor and awarding tenders to his favourites in violation of rules and regulations.
