As the news of a series of bomb blasts in Madrid was telecast by the television, a number of people, mostly women, thronged into international public call offices to enquire about their dear ones, who are serving in Spain.
Some of them could not know about their relatives so far as they failed to contact them in Spain.
A lady Raeesa Bashir Mughal said that her husband is serving in Spain and he prefers journey by train. As she listened the news of train blasts and huge casualties, she ran to a PCO to contact him and she could talk to him in the evening after four hours.
One Abdul Aziz said that his mother could not sleep the whole night because he could not contact his elder brother in Madrid.
A number of Pakistanis said that the Pakistani mission in Spain should have issued the list of the victims who were killed in these blasts.
"If there is no Pakistani among the victims, then this news must be televised repeatedly on every TV channel so that their relatives in Pakistan could heave a sigh of relief," they said.
However, they strongly condemned the terrorist activities in Spain or elsewhere in the world.
Sara(16)and Sidra (14) said that their father and an uncle were serving in Spain and this news had shaken the entire family.
