The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) on Friday announced the results of the HSC Part II Supplementary Examinations 2003 of the Science Group (Pre-Engineering, Science General Group and Commerce Group.
According to statistics, a total of 6,170 candidates appeared in Science Group (Pre-Engineering) and of these 2,430 were declared successful with a pass percentage of 39.37.
In all, 1,286 candidates appeared in the Science General Group and of these 387 emerged successful. The pass percentage was 30.09.
As far as the Commerce Group (Regular and Private) was concerned, a total of 5,779 candidates sat in these examinations.
The number of successful candidates in this very category was 3,154 whereas the pass percentage remained at 54.58.
According to the BIEK statement, the marks statements will be issued after two weeks.
It was also clarified that the regular candidates may obtain their marks sheet from the respective institutions while the private candidates will get their marks statements at their residential address as have been mentioned in their examination forms.
