The Karachi Port handled 48,494 tonnes of cargo including 36,438 tonnes import and 12,056 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Saturday.
The cargo comprised of 19,734 tonnes dry and 28,760 tonnes liquid cargo.
Two ships namely Clipper and Eax Sanctity sailed to sea during the report period.
Five vessels viz Conti Will, Al Manakh, Sea Power, Sibi and Warbah are currently at the berths.
Two ships namely Anjum and Al Manakh expected to sail on Saturday, while three vessels viz Sea Power, San Carlos and Warbah are expected to sail on Sunday.
Two ships namely Ocean Luna and Cos Glory due to arrive on Saturday, while three vessels viz M. T. Johar, Lucas and Arcadia Highway are due to arrive on Sunday.
Four vessels viz Kota Teraju, Orient Stride, Ever Gather and Kota Wangi are due to arrive on Monday.
A total cargo volume of 72,335 tonnes including 50,660 tonnes import and 21,675 tonnes export cargo was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Saturday.
The cargo comprised of 18,354 tonnes edible oil; 21,902 tonnes iron ore and 22,079 tonnes containerised cargo.
Two ships namely Isokaze and Norasia Noor sailed out to sea during the report period, while another ship Westermoor is expected to sail on Saturday.
A total of six vessels viz Saudi Hofuf, Blue Zenith, Federal Hudson, United Talent, Sea Swan and Oriental are currently at the outer anchorage.
Three ships namely Saudi Hofuf, Wan Hai-302 and United Talent due to take berths on Saturday.
Three vessels viz Qem Star, Calteric and Iris due to arrive on Sunday, while another vessel Contship Innovator is due to arrive on Monday.
