I congratulate all the Joint Venture partners of the Jamshoro LPG Extraction Plant on the auspicious occasion of the groundbreaking ceremony of the Project.
It is a matter of pride for local entrepreneurs that the Jamshoro Joint Venture was able to conceive and develop this project on a sound technical and financial basis to compete against the international companies and win this project through a very transparent process of international bidding.
The project when completed will make an impact on the energy scene by producing much needed 450 MT of LPG; thus providing relief to that sector of consumers who are otherwise deprived of a reliable and clean source of energy.
It will also go a long way in protecting the forest and improving the environment.
It will also provide employment to large number of people both directly and indirectly.
The project is a testimonial to the present government's investment policies to encourage private sector to invest in the energy sector for development of indigenous resources.
I pray for timely completion of the project and wish them success in all their future endeavours.
